I Troubled a troublesome soldier, he told me the troubles were over, he told me to stay away one day i'd have my day when I'm older, well now i'm older see, but still i'm no soldier see, because i moved over seas, and learned the truth... x2 There's a war goin on, everyone is scared of it, so scared, they wont say a word of it, not a single word but you'll of heard of it, and how absurd it is, when they murder kids, cuz of where they live, i'm sorry for disturbing ya's, but this is where ya's live, welcome to the real world kids, there's a war goin on, you're livin in the midst, they'll keep you in a prison in the middle you'll live, until one day, when you're old and grey and you've got grand kids of your own to save, you really gonna tell'em which flag they should wave, Behave! There's no flags when your dead in a grave, no bags of buds and no beds no babes, no gangs of thugs and no heads to liaise with, just you your own now come gaze... Move on a path with me now let me tell ya this, probably gonna try and brand you a terrorist, gonna delete your songs and censor this, gonna repeat the bombs and send the lists, of the death tolls, and the ones they miss off the lists get left and let go cuz not many dead men let it be known what they no, so take a listen, why would i care about patriotism when its my own country trying to take me to prison, i'm out here tryin to make me a living in their tryin to make it into something that it isn't... I dont care no more for your lies, i dont care no more for your TV, I dont care no more for your lies, i dont care no more ya cant see me, x2 Move on a path with me now let me tell ya this, probably gonna try and brand you a terrorist, gonna delete your songs and censor this, gonna repeat the bombs and send the lists, of the death tolls, and the ones they miss off the lists get left and let go cuz not many dead men let it be known what they no, so take a listen, why would i care about patriotism when its my own country trying to take me to prison, i'm out here tryin to make me a living in their tryin to make it into something that it isn't... I dont care no more for your lies, i dont care no more for your TV, I dont care no more for your lies, i dont care no more ya cant see me, x2 You cant see me... I Troubled a troublesome soldier, he told me the troubles were over, he told me to stay away one day i'd have my day when I'm older, well now i'm older see, but still i'm no soldier see, because i moved over seas, and learned the truth biaaaaasssss!

about

Jun Tzu (aka Jonathan Hamilton), described by industry experts as one of the most inspiring artists to have emerged in the last decade, has exploded onto the Hip Hop scene with his debut four-track EP, Troubles Comin

His music is inspired by a Belfast heritage - his father David Hamilton, now a Christian preacher, was a convicted terrorist during The Troubles conflict in Northern Ireland.

Jun Tzu attempts to bridge the sectarian and political divide through his unique blend of rap and traditional Irish music.

Troubles Comin is a prelude to Jun Tzu’s debut album, "The Troubles" to be released 2014; a powerful musical journey through his early years in Belfast to his current home in Manchester.

Jun Tzu said: “I believe my music can bridge the gap between the two communities in Northern Ireland. There is still a very clear divide but people from both sides will hopefully find common ground through my observations and beliefs. My music is influential because it is real. I have shared my soul, exposed my beliefs and want to remind my generation of the dangers of mindless bigotry.” The EP is to be released by independent label, Belfast BabyBoom Records, on November 15th to all major digital distributors (limited hard copies also include bonus track, The Bridge and Wee Jonny official video,

The four tracks released on the EP are:

1. Troubles Comin: ft Scorpion Jack (the high-energy Belfast acoustic folk duo)
2. Politicians: a savage critique of the Northern Irish political system
3. Wee Jonny - Baby J Remix: the original first appeared to widespread acclaim on Baby J’s 2008 album, Baby Food
4. Stay Humble: ft reggae artist Ras Greg.
